Meet Our Providers

Stephanie Olson

DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I received my Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chamberlain University and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Over the last 16 years I have been providing mental health care in community-based, acute inpatient hospitalization, outpatient settings, and have also enjoyed helping other nurse practitioners expand their knowledge as an instructor. I provide medication management for many mental health disorders in clients from their late adolescents (age 16) through adulthood. I use a holistic, evidence-based approach to care and find establishing mutual trust and respect to be fundamental in my practice. This therapeutic relationship allows me to meet the unique needs of each person I see.

I attended Walden University where I earned my Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years working in the medical field, specializing in mental health care. My experience includes community-based care, acute inpatient hospital, and outpatient settings. I have also recently started as an adjunct clinical instructor for psychiatric nurse practitioner students to not only help others learn this specialty but to continue learning myself. I strive to stay up to date on evidence-based practices and emerging theories. I provide mental health care to patients across the lifespan, with experience treating a vast variety of mental health disorders. I am passionate about providing quality care, and I work to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their feelings and concerns.
